Can I apply to become a tutor on Tutorfair?

Tutorfair is a platform for individuals to help build their tutoring practice.
There are only four restrictions when an individual cannot apply to become a tutor with us:
- If you are under 18, you cannot yet tutor with Tutorfair
- If you are not allowed to work on a self- employed basis in the UK, you won't be able to work on Tutorfair, as all our tutors are self-employed. If you are an international student visa (Tier 4 visa), you cannot tutor with Tutorfair unless you are a doctorate student so please check the conditions of your visa. As a student on a student visa you cannot be self-employed (this is also known as a “sole trader”). For more information about this please refer to this Home Office document
- If you are based outside of the UK, and do not have a UK bank account and mobile telephone number, you will not be able to sign up Tutorfair at the moment. If you are based outside of the UK and do have these things, you can tutor with us but please make it very clear on your profile that you are only able to offer online tuition.
- If you do not have an enhanced DBS disclosure registered within the last year and/ or be on the update service
